The Child Passenger Safety Association of Canada (CPSAC) is offering a certification course in Cambridge, Ontario on April 8-10th, 2016.

In this course you will learn about the mechanics of a collision, the legislation governing child restraints, and the different stages of child restraint systems and how they work. The course will include hands-on practice so that you will feel comfortable with different methods of installation, as well as guidance on how to help parents and caregivers select and use car seats and booster seats correctly.
The course takes place at the Waterloo Region Children's Safety Village, located at 200 Maple Grove Rd, Cambridge. The hours are:
Friday evening 5-9pm,
and Sunday 9am-6pm.
Full attendance is required. A community seat check clinic is included in the Sunday hours. It is a mandatory portion of the course and part of the skills assessment for CPST candidates.
The cost is $180, and includes registration with CPSAC, 3 year certification as a CPST (annual requirements must be met), liability insurance when acting as a volunteer, and all course materials (including technician manual and clinic supplies).

REFUND POLICY: Payment is due in full to secure a place in the course. No refunds will be given unless the Instructors cancel the course (emergency purposes, insufficient enrollment, etc), or if someone can be found to take your place before the start of the course.
